Do you have a brilliant engineering solution you would like to work on?
Ten (10) innovative ideas will win scholarships and access to courses on the S2PAfrica Learning Platform, worth $2000. Get the skills today to be a future game changer for Africa.
Qualifying submissions are well-articulated & brilliantly presented ideas that are also valid submission entries into other competition categories such as Micro-Grid Solutions, Autodesk, Energy Efficiency, Integrated Solutions, Localization, or Ignored Energy.
The category prize is $2000 worth of courses and products for each team with qualifying entries. There is also the possibility of industry partnerships to develop and implement the ideas commercially with team members having stakes in the company.
To be considered for this prize, you must explain why you think your idea is innovative and show a pattern of innovative thinking using 1 or 2 examples and/or how your approach can lead to a specific innovation.

Huge congratulations to our 10 finalists and to team Koye Hydro who emerged ahead of over 40 teams as the Winner of the S2PAfrica EDC 2022, taking home $10,000 IDRC grand prize and $2000 from Cummins West Africa, to fund the development of their project as well as teams KeyTrick and Improved Charcoal Stove came in second and third respectively.
A new bar has been set and we can’t wait for EDC 2023.
